Day One

Arrive in Delhi early morning, Delhi city tour, visit to Rajghat, visit to the Gandhi Smriti, Laxminarayan temple, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Lotus temple, Swaminarayan Akshardham temple, India Gate, and the Red fort. Dinner & hotel.

Day Two

Morning after breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport to connect flight for Kashmir.
Flight: Delhi/Kashmir- Meet & greet and transfer to houseboat/hotel. Welcome drinks on arrival. Rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy Shikara Ride on Dal Lake. En-route to Shiva Lingam & mountain. Dinner & hotel.

Day Three – Kashmir

After having breakfast in the hotel, you will be driven for a full day excursion to Sonmarg. It is a place of enthralling beauty, that lies in Sindh Valley, streamed with flowers, surrounded by mountains and perched at an altitude of 2690 m above sea level. Depart Kashmir & stay overnight at hotel.

Day Four – Kashmir

Proceed for picturesque drive to Gulmarg. It was discovered as a tourist destination by the British in the 19th Century. It is exquisitely situated in a pine surrounded basin of the Pir Panjal. It is one of the most famous tourist destination of Kashmir. It also has one of the world’s highest green golf courses with 18 holes, as well as a clubhouse, which is a historical building in its own right. We will also visit the Laxmi Temple, where Laxmi had come to Earth.

Optional: One can enjoy a Gondola ride or horse ride at Gulmarg. Overnight stay at hotel in Kashmir.

Day Five: Kashmir – Delhi

After breakfast, checkout from your hotel and drive to the airport to go back to Delhi.

Upon arrival in Delhi, do some sightseeing of New Delhi including the President’s house, Qutab Minar atc, and some shopping. Overnight stay in New Delhi

Day 6: Delhi – Haridwar (5 to 6 hours drive)

Haridwar is situated on the right bank of the Holy River Ganga, and is the point where the river spreads over the northern plain. Associated with both Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu, Haridwar is among the seven sacred cities of India. There are many places of scenic beauty on the outskirts of the town.

Morning drive to Haridwar. Later start for sightseeing which includes a visit to Chandi Devi – A panoramic view of Haridwar can be enjoyed from the temple of Chandi Devi located on top of Neel Parvat. Legend has it that Chanda-Munda, the army chief of local demon king, Shumbha – Nishumbha, was killed by Goddess Chandi here. Bharat mata temple – is a 8 story building in which the images of cities, heroes, and great men are installed. Shanti kunj – is the famous ashram of Gayatri. Followers and pilgrims from far and wide converge here for yoga and natural cure. Also witness Aarti of the Holy River Ganges. Night stay in Haridwar.

Day 7: Haridwar – Rishikesh

Situated 24 km. upstream from Haridwar, at the confluence of the Rivers Chandrabhaga and Ganga, Rishikesh has long been a spiritual center. It is said that the sage Raibhya Rishi did severe penance here and as a reward, God appeared to him in the form of Hrishikesh, hence the name. Rishikesh has numerous ashrams, some of which are internationally recognized as centers of philosophical studies.

After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh “place of sages”, en-route visiting ashrams. Upon arrival, check in at hotel, visit Laxman Jhula – a hanging bridge on the River Ganga, Bharat Mandir – the oldest temple in Rishikesh, near the Triveni Ghat. Afternoon drive to Delhi for overnight stay.

Day 8: Delhi – Jaipur(4 hours)

Jaipur is where the enduring charisma of the past blends with the throbbing vitality of today. Raja Jai Singh, the founder of Jaipur was no ordinary man. He was a scholar and an astronomer. In building Jaipur, Jai Singh’s vision took him beyond architectural beauty for in the sprawling, barren plains beneath Amber, the former capital, he gave India its 1st planned city. It became a center of commerce and religion.

Morning after breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jaipur, upon arrival check into hotel and the rest of the afternoon, do a introductory tour of Jaipur, Pink city. Also do some shopping. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 9: Jaipur Sightseeing

Morning after breakfast, get ready to visit the Pink
City. It’s a full day of sightseeing which includes the
following places:

➔ Amber Fort Palace
➔ City Palace
➔ Jantar Mantar
➔ Hawa Mahal

Night stay in Jaipur.

Day 10: Jaipur – Agra via Fatehpur Sikri

Morning after breakfast at the hotel, drive to Ghost City “Fatehpur Sikri” founded by Mughal King Akbar, upon arrival, visit Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza, Diwan-I-Khas, Jodhabai Palace(Mariam-uz-Zamani Palace) Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti and finally Jama Masjid, later continue to Agra, upon arrival in Agra, check into hotel for overnight stay.

Day 11-12: Full Day of Sightseeing in Agra

Morning after breakfast at the hotel, proceed for city sightseeing tour, visiting the world’s famous Taj Mahal, built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his queen, Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Also visiting the Agra Fort, containing the Pearl Mosque – the rusty and majestic red sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) the Emperor sat on his gem-studded peacock throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms. Also visit Itmad-up-Dau’s tomb, built by Noorjehan in memory of her father. One of the ancient city on the left bank of the River, going back so far as to be lost in the legend of Lord Krishna & the Heroes of the Mahabharata, where it was named as Agraban. This city in those days was considered to be the sister of Mathura, which was more prominent than Agraban. Night stay in Agra.

Day 13: Agra – Delhi

Half a day stay in Agra which could include shopping, more sightseeing, and elephant rides. Leave Agra to go back to Delhi, check into hotel in Delhi. Night in Delhi.

Day 14: Leisure Time in Delhi

As this is the last day of the tour, it could be spent at your leisure which could include packing, more sightseeing, shopping, or just relaxing at the hotel. Check out of hotel, go to the airport and check in. Flight out of Delhi on the 22nd.

I, Shantie, will be with you at all time and I will only being taking a small group of people, that way it will be more enjoyable and not hectic. If you have a request to do something not related to the tour let me know in advance so that we can compromise on.
